Despite the name and brick-and-mortar office in Redondo Beach, South Bay Nannies has, since 2008, always done business in Orange County! Our OC clients tend to be professional families with serious needs for the highest quality, professional childcare and an agency that understands these requirements. Over the years South Bay Nannies has consistently delivered the same high-quality services afforded to our Los Angeles-based clients and we maintain our own extensive database of top-notch, Orange County, and San Diego-based professional nannies.

We would like to better understand your needs before quoting, we offer multiple services within the childcare space and there are numerous factors to consider.
For a permanent hire, we ask for a window 35-40 days notice. For temporary hire, we can place a top notch nanny within 24 hours (depends on the circumstances).
Our local network, we have been in business for 15+ years, we have built up a database of over 2000 nannies. We also market some positions outside of our database and we are always open to meeting new nannies who we’ve never met before.
Our clients want to see a short list of the top professional nannies in the job market at the time and there are always considerations of security which we address via reference and background checking.
South Bay, Westside of Los Angeles and Orange County. We also have a national presence and have placed nannies in multiple states across the country. Our presence continues to grow!
Our clients have an excellent retention rate. This being said, we guarantee all permanent placements 90 days
from the nannies start date.
Yes, we use a private vendor to check for criminal history and attain a report from dmv records. This is a full local and national criminal background check which includes a check of the national sex offender index. This process typically takes 3-5 work days. We also register all nannies with Trustline which is a one time, live scan fingerprinting process. For more information on Trustline please visit www.trustline.org
We don’t recommend this approach, rather we encourage nannies to assess all employment opportunities as unique

Yes, in change for your nanny guaranteeing her availability to your family you will be required to guarantee your nannies compensation. One exception to this is if your nanny specifically asks for unpaid time off of work.
